This year, our class is hosting the Junior Senior Banquet. We’ve decided to go with an old-school-Hollywood theme, but we’re having trouble finding venues. We were planning on doing it in Universal Studios, but their venues were too expensive. Are there any nice Hollywood-related venues out there?
i dont know about your theme but my favorite venue of all time is the house of blues on suset

Name of documentary on terrestrial tv about people who thought they were 100% British but really not?
I think it was on Ch 4 or ITV sometime last spring. Basically it was defining what being British really is; the host asked people what they were and when they said 100% English, etc. he would research their family history and show them that they were actually a multitude of ethnicities. Hoping to use the film in a class if I can find out it’s name.
edit: What I was looking for was “100% English”, guess it was just England and not the whole of the UK. “Who do you think you are” sounds interesting tho.
is it called “who do you think you are” i have watched something similar to that….and now you mention this…i always thought i was pure British…turned out that i’m not…i originate from Denmark…i only found that out when i was 36 (9 years ago)….yep…i was shocked at first but happy to know wher the rest of my family came from….i would love to find out who my ancestors were…i know the Danes are Vikings, but that’s about it….
